The quality of the natural raw materials and finished goods is constantly surveyed.
The quality mark guarantees the faultless quality structure of the Chinolith floor according to:

  • DIN 18 353
  • DIN 272

Example: In Many Of His Works Daimler Is Producing On CHINOLITH!

The special industrial floor CHINOLITH is a jointless floor covering with a finished surface bonded with caustic magnesia (magnesite). The material components are carefully attuned to the many-sided stress an industrial floor is exposed to. The various raw materials and their grain-size distribution are chosen with scientific methods meeting very strict requirements.
They are subject to a continuous control and are processed in an unchanging quality, dosed exactly and packed fully automatically in a stationary production line.

The raw materials and finished products are subjected to a continuous quality control. The quality mark guarantees the faultless quality structure of the dry mortar, as well as the accuracy of the construction work.

CHINOLITH is produced in new buildings and in rehabilitations of old buildings in different classes of tenacity and smoothness for all requirements according to DIN 18560 + 18202.

The application areas in Germany and in the neighbouring countries (CH, F, AT) are:

  •  Automobile industries
  •  Electric industries
  •  Metal working industry
  •  Furniture industry
  •  Wood industry
  •  Aircraft industry
  •  Universities
  •  Schools
  •  Trading centres
  •  Distribution centres
  •  Joiner’s workshops
  •  Forwarding agencies, and more

The guide line is the DIN 272 with the strength properties that are postulated in this norm. Nevertheless, the prism values that are actually obtained use to be much better. Worth paying attention is the relation between the mechanical strength properties that are particularly favourable, thus achieving a high tenacity. The quality mark guarantees the continuous surveying of the industrial floor CHINOLITH.

Construction: GEFANOL is applied to the top of a ground that meets the demands of the DIN norms. This plastic adhesive and inhibiting layer ensures the frictional connection with the supporting surface: concrete, wood, tiles, asphalt, wash floor, etc.

The CHINOLITH-wearing surface is normally laid on the top of the GEFANOL adhesive layer with a thickness of 15-20 mm without joints, condensed as well as smoothed mechanically. It can be produced in several colours, preferably grey and beige.

The immediate impregnation as a final treatment penetrates the still fresh surface and densifies it additionally. This treatment improves the appearance of the floor, reduces the soiling and facilitates the current cleaning.
